Let this be the first blog post from Invite Media! The title of our blog, “Invite Only,” suggests that we’ll be selfishly posting only about ourselves. However, in addition to providing general updates about our company, we’re also looking to discuss much broader topics such as industry happenings, strategic shifts, and overall themes that we’ve witnessed in our space. We encourage anyone and everyone who is interested in our industry to join in the conversation.

So, what is our industry and who is Invite Media? By way of background, we founded Invite Media in April, 2007 in Philadelphia, PA to solve a simple problem: provide media buyers with a “universal buying platform” for display media. The result is Bid Manager, a complete buying dashboard that is integrated across every ad exchange in real-time. Bid Manager is built for ad agencies, ad networks and media buyers, and allows for the optimization and management of campaigns across a vast supply of inventory. Launched in late 2008, Bid Manager is fully operational and is up and running with over 40 platform accounts.

As of November, 2009 we are 28 people strong and growing fast, with offices in New York City, San Francisco, London, and of course Philadelphia. Please be sure to check out our open career positions to see if there’s a job right for you or contact us if you are interested in learning more about Bid Manager!
